Carriann’s 10th Boudoir Empowerment Session / McKinney, TX / Boudoir by Erin
This session is what broke me out of years of self loathing. This reset my mind and view of myself. I walked out feeling like I was empowered and worth more than I ever thought.
How did you first hear about Boudoir by Erin?
I actually found Erin through Facebook as I was in the midst of a divorce.
Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
During my divorce I started breaking away from the abuse and realizing I needed self love. I was told for many years I was fat, ugly, and lazy. I was told no one would ever want me. I broke from that and decided the first way to break would be to see myself in a new light.
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudoir by Erin?
Honestly just women in lingerie when I glanced. Sexy stuff for their husbands or partners. I then read Erin’s info and saw I wanted that empowerment she offered women.
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
Of course I was nervous but from the moment I had the phone consultation, I was at ease with Erin.
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
I had all the butterflies in my stomach. Nerves and excitement!
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
It was so cozy ans cute on the outside. Walked in and was blown away by all the options there were and layouts.
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
I absolutely loved it and it made me feel more like a Queen as I’m not good at my own makeup lol
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
How my nerves had gone away and how much fun I was having.
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
I felt beautiful and transformed. I felt as if I could conquer the crumbling world around me.
What products did you purchase?
Well I ended up buying all my pictures, instead of just the one package I originally did.
Did anything surprise you?
I was surprised by the talent of Erin and how she even did the poses with me to make sure I understand. I was surprised that she even knew how to capture the best parts of me.
What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
You don’t have to have someone special in your life to do this for. Do it to empower you. Do it to change your vision about yourself. Open yourself up and let loose. We all deserve to feel special. Book it and don’t look back. You won’t regret it.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
It kick started my self love journey. I saw on the screen a different woman and what she was capable of. I broke free
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
Feel empowered and self love.
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
Those feelings quickly go out the window!!
