How did you first hear about Boudoir by Erin?

Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
I had been wanting to do this, but I just wasn’t sure about making the investment I myself at first. I finally asked my friends if they’d ever done one, and I was surprised to find out how much everyone raves about the results and empowerment they felt. So, I HAD to go for it!
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudoir by Erin?

Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
Yes, my body. I’ve gained 130 lbs in 10 years, so lots of mental insecurities and challenges that have brought me here. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to handle it emotionally.
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
Super nervous, worried about not looking great and that I wouldn’t be happy with how I looked
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
Amazing! Everyone was super friendly and made me feel comfortable! Extremely professionally!
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
Loveeeed! I can’t rave about her enough! I love a bold look, and she gave me the best makeup/hair I’ve ever seen! I had seen a lot of photos with more of a natural look, so I was so excited when she was down to go bold’!
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
I def had some negative thoughts about myself and not being as flexible and worried that I would be judged. Lol Erin and April were super nice and didn’t push me beyond my limits!
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
Viewing the images was great, but it was also a little uncomfortable seeing myself on a big screen. We are our own worst critics, so I was struggling to get past seeing cellulite and what not. I also have really seen myself in awhile, so was a lot to take in for me personally. Leaving I felt super energized and for the first time in ages, I felt sexy!
Did anything surprise you?
How awesome everything went!! The styling process to makeup and the session was everything I could have hoped for and more!
What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
Dooo it! Stop waiting for you to be the “perfect you,” because let’s be real! Perfection is never going to happen. You deserve to feel sexy and take up space where you are today, so don’t wait. Give yourself this gift today.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
Yes, I felt more empowered and like I can be amazing in the body that I’m in today
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
Read all the info she sends you to prepare and you’ll be completely set! Erin is amazing and well organized
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
Be shy! Be nervous! It’s who ya are, so just bring that (by that I mean YOU) to your session, and Erin will find a way to bring you out of your shell in a way that is comfortable and empowering for you!
Anything else you would like to share?
Thank you thank you thank you for allowing me to be a model for you! I did random modeling in my 20s and it was amazing to been seen as a candidate to model now :)
