Ms B’s Boudoir Empowerment Session / McKinney, TX / Boudoir by Erin
I wanted to do a boudoir shoot because for as long as I could remember I’ve had body issues. Having very low self esteem and just not loving the skin I’m in. I went back and forth on this and finally decided to do it. I didn’t think I would look good in my pictures but I’m so glad I took these pictures.
How did you first hear about Boudoir by Erin?
I did a search on Facebook for boudoir photo shoot
Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
Initially it was for my birthday but I changed it for Valentine’s Day
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudoir by Erin?
I had absolutely no clue
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
Yes!!! I thought I wasn’t going to take any good pictures and I’m VERY self conscious about my body. I thought to take these pictures you had to look a certain way.
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
NERVOUS!!!!!
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
I was surprised because looking at the pictures everything looks different
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
Jaimee did an awesome job with my make up. Originally I wanted a natural look because I didn’t think she could match me but she shocked me and had me looking like an entirely different person (in a good way)
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
I was just thinking in my head “what are these pictures going to look like”
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
Excited
What products did you purchase?
I just purchased a small photo album
Did anything surprise you?
The fact that Erin could make these pictures come out the way they did
What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
Just do it. Regardless of your fears just do it
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
Yes!!!! I now want to take more pictures
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
She sees the beauty in every person and pulls it out. I absolutely loves how she boosts you.
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
I’m an introvert and I’m shy as well. I hate looking at my body so if I can do it anyone can.
