Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
Saw her beautiful photos she shared on FB and then the website really solidified
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudoir by Erin?
I think "boudoir photography " has a certain image in one's head, at least for a certain age group 😆
At 53 I might be a decade last of what that means historically . Sassy, risqué -- when those adjectives s meant something
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
Body images, big tome
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
Excited and without the overuse of the word "empowered "
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
Comfortable , really nice space
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
I loved it
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
It's a vulnerable situation. I wore outfits I'd never do in my current life.. while physically uncomfortable because of my own insecurities, I just mentally jumped into the positions for each photo and rely entirely on Erin's guidance and encouragement
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
A little overwhelmed. Happy. But also insecure about the final product - i found my own self beautiful, - but will my husband (for his 19th anniversary gift)! Such a vulnerable way to celebrate oneself.

What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
If I could change anything it would be to smile. To show the fun I was having inside, facially . My relaxed face is a down turn mouth, not alway too sexy.
So smile or smirk or whatever!
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
Yes
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
. Anyone who thinks "I'd like to step out of my conservative box and do something sexy that celebrates ME". This is my #19 anniversary present to my hubs & he's going to be blown away, not only by the photos but by the mere fact of me doing this .
But for experience, The comfort of being physically vulnerable was awesome. Erin made me feel beautiful
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
Take a leap of faith. It's gonna be just fine

Smile, if the moment moves you. It's your shoot, you don't have to look at past photos and compare yourself as you prepare yourself . Trust Erin to dress you and position you - don't bog down on "choices" because the best are made for you and that's why they're professionals
