I am sooooooooo glad I talked myself into investing in myself. This was a gift for my husband and I think I ended up gaining more than he will from it. Erin is amazing and so is the team.
How did you first hear about Boudoir by Erin?
I saw the amazing pictures you did for my friend Lindsey Scribner. They were straight fire.
Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
This is a one year anniversary gift for my husband to remind what I looked like when he made me his bride. We are trying for a baby and I want him to remember me this way before I’m as big as a house. Haha
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudoir by Erin?
I knew they are sexy pictures but holy moly.
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
I was worried I would look ridiculous.
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
I tried not to overthink it and I’m so glad that I didn’t. Otherwise I might have talked myself out of it!
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
I was greeted with champagne which of course I loved! We went through my outfits and they accessorized them. I went over my concerns and they squashed every one of them.
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
Jamie is an amazing job. My eyebrows were like whoa! My eye was watering like crazy from allergies and she was so patient. Loved visiting with her during the process she’s a real gem. 😊
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
Erin periodically will show you photos while shooting. Every-time you feel like you look insanely awkward she shows you just how wrong you are.
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
So excited to get my prints. I cannot wait to see my husbands face. He’s going to lose it!
What products did you purchase?
I went in thinking I would have a problem finding 20 photos and I had a hard time narrowing it down to 40!!! They were ALL so amazing!
Did anything surprise you?
It surprised me how comfortable in front of two strangers. I say strangers because I had just met them that day. I felt like we were old girlfriends 5 minutes into the session.
What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
Do it!!!!! It is worth every penny. Do something for yourself. I would recommend it to anyone.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
These pictures were steamy as hell. lol I had no idea I had it in me.
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
What an incredible confidence booster this was. No matter how confident you already think you are ; you will see yourself in a completely new light!!!
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
One of my favorite outfits ended up being nothing but a tie with high heels. I never thought I would feel comfortable doing that in front of anyone but my husband. After several outfits and poses I was comfortable doing anything! Erin’s team is amazing.
