Ms H’s Second Boudoir Empowerment Session / McKinney, TX / Boudoir by Erin
I am a new mom and did my first session with Erin at 9 months pregnant. Fast-forward almost a year, and she has be upside down and on my head to show that my 'mom pooch' means absolutely nothing and I am a bombshell even with an 11 month old. The confidence boost and empowerment you receive from a few hours of doing something for yourself is absolutely incredible. The work Erin has done to make the entire session so comfortable, hair and makeup superb, and the environment fulfilling shows in the quality of her professionalism, images, and work. Thank you for everything you all do!
How did you first hear about Boudoir by Erin?
I did a maternity shoot with her! Initially, it was a Facebook ad
Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
I wanted to help her by being a model!
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudoir by Erin?
Good question- I most likely considered it a way to exploit the female body, but Erin has such a different take on it and makes it an empowering session.
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
Oh yeah, the normal insecurities and un -sure-ness.
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
Nervous!
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
Very clean, great atmosphere, seems like a fun time.
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
Um, PHENOMENAL AS ALWAYS.
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
Ouch? hehe
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
Oh absolutely brilliant. Erin is so good at what she does and is so passionate about ensuring the subject is comfortable.
Did anything surprise you?
My flexibility
What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
Absolutely do it. Do it with a friend, an SO, by yourself....just do it.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
Absolutely. My 'mom-bod' means nothing!
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
She ensures you are comfortable and pushes you to do things that look absolutely amazing..
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
Erin will get you out of that bubble!
