Ms M’s Couples Boudoir Empowerment Session / McKinney, TX / Boudoir by Erin
I absolutely love getting boudoir photos done. This time I took my husband who was extremely nervous for the simple reason of being intimate with his wife while being photographed and not trying to show his emotions too much. First, we did a mini makeup reveal, of which he loved. Jamiee absolutely nailed my hair and makeup which I adore. After the reveal, we started our session. It only took a few photos until he opened up and was relaxed as ever. He was having so much fun and really got engaged with the poses and the different small moments that truly make a boudoir shoot. Erin was absolutely amazing at helping him feel comfortable as well as making sure he was able to get just as much out of this as I would. When reviewing the photos, he was so engaged and focused on the images which was absolutely fantastic and made me feel like he truly enjoyed the experience. Upon leaving, he mentioned doing it again. At that moment, I knew Erin had left her mark on him too. We can’t wait to go back!
How did you first hear about Boudoir by Erin?
Looking around for boudoir photographers as a wedding gift to my husband two years ago!
Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
My first time was to get me out of my comfort zone. The most recent was a couples with my husband where we could both express ourselves and have those memories together.
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudoir by Erin?
I knew what boudoir was but didn’t know how fun it could be.
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
The first time, yes. I was super nervous as I am self conscious of my body. This time, no. My husband was nervous but after the first few photos, he felt comfortable and really let loose.
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
Excited beyond belief. I knew this would be a fantastic experience and I couldn’t wait.
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
So many options! I love the studio and the different themes that she comes up with.
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
Spot on. I never could do my makeup like she does. Truly the best I have ever had done.
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
So many…this woman is great, she’s fun, she’s creative, I feel sexy, so happy my husband is relaxed….the list continues.
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
Happy, excited, and anxious!
What products did you purchase?
I got the flirty book package with additional images added to the book.
Did anything surprise you?
No, I have a pretty good understanding after doing this multiple times.
What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
Do it. Get out of your comfort zone - you won’t regret it. Tall, short, heavy, thing, perfect skin, or skin blemishes. You will love the experience and be absolutely amazed at the photos you see of yourself.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
Absolutely. The first time was amazing. I remember being absolutely stunned that the photos she took were really me. This time with my husband was no different. You truly feel amazing after you leave
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
To feel better about yourself.
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
I’m an introvert and dont like photos of my body because I’m self conscious too. But I highly recommend doing it. It really does make you look at yourself and find your beauty.

I will be booking another appointment soon and my husband is even on board now without my having to nudge!!
