Ms R’s Boudoir Empowerment Session / McKinney, TX / Boudoir by Erin
I am a mom of 2 and I haven't felt sexy for years, I also struggle with anxiety. The second I walked into the studio I felt comfortable and at ease. The Empowerment closet is full of amazing, sexy outfits. The makeup artist was friendly and did an amazing job with my makeup. The photographer showed me the poses I was going to do and made me feel confident during the session. Looking through the pictures at the end was the hardest part of the whole experience. There were so many great ones to choose from! I was so happy with the entire experience!
How did you first hear about Boudoir by Erin?
A friend on Facebook invited me to the page.
Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
I have been struggling with self confidence and I thought this would be a great way to feel sexy again
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudoir by Erin?
I had heard of it before and I always thought it was an awesome way for women to be empowered with their bodies instead of hiding them
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
I was extremely nervous. No one but my husband has seen me half naked in over 14 years, since I was 17. And this body has changed a lot since I was 17 lol
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
Very nervous but excited
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
I loved the neighborhood and the house was beautiful, I love older houses. The studio was set up so beautifully. I loved every single background and piece of furniture, seriously amazing!
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
It was a lot of makeup for me but I hardly wear makeup lol. It was beautifully done and my husband loved it!
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
I was amazed on how comfortable i felt.
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
I felt like a bad ass bitch!
What products did you purchase?
Unfortunately none at this time.
Did anything surprise you?
How comfortable I felt and how friendly everyone was.
What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
Do it!! I struggle with anxiety and self confidence but you would be amazed on how comfortable you feel, seriously no anxiety and I felt super sexy!
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
Yes! I am learning to love my body as it is and this was such a confidence booster for me!
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
They are an amazing group of women and you will glide out of the studio on cloud nine!
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
So am I!!! I hate meeting new people and I am very shy, anxious when being put into new situations. That went out the door when I met everyone and was being directed by the photographer Brandi with "Yes! Yes! Pop that ass!" It was such a confidence booster!

Do it! I was an amazing growing experience and I would do it again 100%
