Ms. S’s Boudoir Empowerment Session / McKinney, TX / Boudoir by Erin
I have been struggling with my femininity for a while now. I’ve had people tell me I’m a masculine woman or I don’t present myself feminine. I believe femininity is a spectrum, and I definitely want to feel feminine. Having my photos done helped me see myself in that way.
How did you first hear about Boudoir by Erin?
Erin is my mom!
Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
I wanted to see myself in way I never had been able to and boost my self confidence. See my own femininity.
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
Yes. I worried about my insecurities and worried I wouldn’t like my images because of the way I view myself sometimes.
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
Nervous and excited!
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
I loved it!!! Jaimee is amazing.
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
I was a little uncomfortable and anxious but that started to fade and it was fun!
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
I felt fantastic. For the first time ever I didn’t have a ton of negative things to say about myself & pictures of me.
What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
Do it! It’s worth it. Everyone deserves to feel good about themselves.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
I definitely feel more confident, it was crazy to see myself in the photos. I didn’t even feel it was me at first, but not in a bad way. I just saw myself differently.
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
Erin is very good at what she does. Her photography is beautiful, both because of the subject and the way she photographs. It is a very fun experience and I think every person deserves to see themselves in a positive way.
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
If I can do it, you can do it.

Erin is the best role model and mother. She gets to spend her days being a badass empowering women!
