I really enjoyed the whole experience!
How did you first hear about Boudoir by Erin?
A friend of mine saw one of her posts on Facebook and sent it to me.
Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
After being in an abusive relationship for 16 years, by self esteem had declined terribly. My friend encouraged me to do this so I could get out of my comfort zone and take my power back…and she was right 😊
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudoir by Erin?
I just thought it was sexy photos that you had made to give to your man as a gift.
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
Being out of shape for sure! It’s hard to show your body when you don’t feel great about it already.
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
Really I had been so busy that I didn’t have much time to be nervous , which is probably a good thing! Lol
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
All of the beautiful sets around the studio. And Erin’s bubbly personality ❤️
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
The makeup was a lot for me. I’ve never had full glam makeup professionally done on myself. It looked great in the photos though!
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
I had a lot of thoughts running through my head, but honestly the main thought that kept popping up was “Why is it so hard to hold these damn poses”? 😂
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
I felt proud of myself for following through with something that was so far out of my comfort zone! I thought Erin’s images of me turned out beautifully. She showed me a side of myself that I didn’t know was there!
What products did you purchase?
I just got the photo package of 10 included in the session.
Did anything surprise you?
How comfortable I was being mostly naked in front of someone I didn’t know.
What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
I think it’s definitely something that has the power to transform your ideas about yourself and improve your self image as a woman. I don’t know about advice, but I would certainly encourage you to do it if you’re on the fence!
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
I would say so. I’ve never been one to value my appearance or sexuality. Looks fade, so I tend to cherish compliments on my accomplishments or how I made someone feel over my appearance. This session shined a light on a side of myself that was lying dormant. It showed me that you can show the beautiful and sensual side of yourself without taking away from your inner beauty. It made me feel unapologetically strong and womanly!
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
Honestly because it can really change and improve the entire way you see yourself. Not only will you see a whole new side of yourself with these beautiful images, you’ll also feel incredibly proud of yourself and empowered for following through with something that can feel so nerve wracking!
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
I’m pretty sure we all thought the same thing before our sessions! For most of us, it’s not a normal daily occurrence to get half naked in front of strangers. I would just say book your session and reach out to Erin with any concerns. Also, join the groups on social media. The ladies who have already done their sessions are super encouraging!
