Amanda’s Boudoir Empowerment Session / McKinney, TX / Boudoir by Erin
Amanda came to us for an anniversary present for her hubby. When I spoke with her about her session and what we can do I also explained she will see the session was more for her than her hubby. As nervous as she was she was ready to take the plunge and do a boudoir session. The empowering transformation the day of her session was awesome. Take a look at what she had to say.
How did you first hear about Boudoir by Erin?
Lots of research and reviews online.
Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
I wanted something to give my husband for our 10 year anniversary to keep the marriage fresh.
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudoir by Erin?
A few of my friends had done them so I knew what they were. They encouraged me to do it as a great self confidence booster.
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
Yes!! Was incredibly nervous and didn’t know if I was going to like any of the results.
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
Lots of anxiety! And was hoping that the outfit decisions were the right choices.
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
Still lots of nerves, but the props and set up were incredible. I was excited to see how the pictures were going to turn out.
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
Jamie is INCREDIBLE!! She took the time to make it perfect and it showed in the pictures.
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
I was definitely uncomfortable at the beginning trying to make sure I was doing the right moves, looks, etc. but Erin was amazing making me comfortable and sexy and I loosened up by the end.
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
I felt just amazing! I was so surprised at how much I loved them! And Erin was so encouraging and uplifting as well!
What products did you purchase?
The Goddess package. I went with a smaller package originally, but I ended up loving so many of the images that I had to go bigger! Best decision!
Did anything surprise you?
Yes! The results! I was shocked at how I saw myself and how much I loved the pictures!
What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
Do it!! So much self empowerment and self confidence come out in the pictures!
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
Absolutely! I feel so much more confident looking at myself and feel so much sexier around my husband.
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
Erin is the absolute best! She knew exactly how to pose and angle me and make me feel so incredibly confident. Her energy and personality made me feel confident and comfortable throughout the shoot as well.
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
I felt the exact same way going in, and came out with more confidence than I’ve ever had. Erin and Jamie do an amazing job breaking you out of your comfort zone and making you feel so sexy.
