Amanda came to us for an anniversary present for her hubby.  When I spoke with her about her session and what we can do I also explained she will see the session was more for her than her hubby.  As nervous as she was she was ready to take the plunge and do a boudoir session.  The empowering transformation the day of her session was awesome.  Take a look at what she had to say.

Ms C came for her boudoir empowerment session after doing lots of research for her session.  I loved that she took all the time to research and choose the right photographer for her.  There are so many amazing options in the DFW metroplex so taking the time to look and ask all your questions is very important.  Ms C was nervous when coming in and didn’t bring any outfits of her own so looking through the closet she was very pleased.  Take a look at her amazing words and photos from her session.

Kristy was referred to me by a gentleman I had a dudoir session with.  She was extremely nervous and wanted to put herself first.  We exchanged emails and her being a part of my women's only group on Facebook helped her gain some trust in the process and what she was getting into.  Take a look at her response to the experience.

Ms Linnette came into the studio for the first time after searching Google and looking through lots of photographers. She was ready to experience the Empowerment a bridal boudoir session would give her. She was ready to give her wife the gift of her from her bridal boudoir session. Linnette brought her veil, garter and some beautiful white lingerie for her session. We added some additional pieces from my boudoir closet as well.

This was Clarissa’s second boudoir session with us.  We worked together about two and half years ago and she loved it so much she had to come back and see us.  She was ready after such a crazy year to be empowered again by her own beauty.

Charne’ came to us for her first boudoir session as a gift to her husband for their anniversary.  Oh boy did that change because this session became all about her!  I always explain to women that the session will be more for them than whoever they are gifting it to.  Charne’ experienced this first hand at her session when she saw her amazing images and felt the empowerment from her boudoir session.

Boudoir sessions aren’t just for women. They are great for couples as well! An experience like this with the love of your life will definitely be something you will never forget. And the images you will end up with will for sure be cherished forever. These types of images not only show the type of bond and love you have physically, but emotionally as well.

Ms Aaren came into the studio for the first time after seeing me on Facebook. She was ready to experience the Empowerment a boudoir session would give her. Both times she used everything from my boudoir closet and said to dress her and then told Jaimee to do her thing with her makeup. There seems to be a common misconception when it comes to Boudoir photography. While tasteful beautiful seductive images DO make great gifts for your significant other, you do not need to be in a relationship or married to have a session. Boudoir sessions are more than just a photo shoot, they are an experience. And every female deserves to enjoy this experience at least once in their lifetime.

Where did she go? Where did that spontaneous girl who chased adventure go? Where is that woman who knew she was sensual and sexy no matter what she was wearing? Where is that woman they called "intimidating" because she beamed with confidence?

She's right here Mama. She just stepped aside to let you shine. She knew that you had to be something for other people for a little while and that you had to grow. She knew that you had little ones to take care of. She knew that you had a husband who needed you. She knew that you missed her but she let you shine for a little while. See, you haven't changed; not that much anyways. You're still the same wild and free spirited girl at heart, you've just grown into a woman. A woman who can be both. A woman who can be a mom and wife but who can still be wild and free and adventurous. Never let that adventure die. Never let that confidence die. You're still the same, Mama. Just a more beautiful version of yourself. You've battled through this life and faced more than you ever thought possible. You've grown into a warrior. You are powerful and beautiful and sexy. And you CAN be it all. Never forget who you are, Mama! Do things that make you remember. Things that make you happy. Take the risks. Find the adventures. That's where you find yourself. Love yourself just as much as you love your family. This body MADE that family. Love it at every stage. This body has been your armor. Don't forget to shine it back up every now and then. Ryan came into the studio for the first time after seeing a post on Facebook looking for males wanting to do a male boudoir session. He was pretty nervous considering he was going to take some sexy photos. Ladies I don’t think we realize men have body image issues just like women do. They worry about their looks and bodies like we do as well. He is wanting his wife to do a session as well so he figured he would help give her confidence to do it if he was brave enough to do a session himself. As a boudoir photographer myself I spend my day empowering women and helping them see a side of themselves they don’t see. Women are assholes to themselves and we have a hard time just loving our bodies. I am not excluded in that feeling and struggle with my body and self image daily.
