Ryan’s Dudoir Session / McKinney, TX / Boudoir by Erin
Ryan came into the studio for the first time after seeing a post on Facebook looking for males wanting to do a male boudoir session. He was pretty nervous considering he was going to take some sexy photos. Ladies I don’t think we realize men have body image issues just like women do. They worry about their looks and bodies like we do as well. He is wanting his wife to do a session as well so he figured he would help give her confidence to do it if he was brave enough to do a session himself. Why did you decide to book a dudoir session? What made you go for it?
Cause I'm not gonna look like this forever!!
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
Not really at all, but im a guy, so that may make up for not having any fears.
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
I felt great, my biggest worry/concern was what bottle of bourbon I wanted to be featured with. 😅
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
Thought it was awesome, all the rooms, set ups, very professional.
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
Ya, man I gotta get my wife in here!!
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
I felt good, some I liked more than others, but in the end, that was just me being picky about me. Were our own worst critics. Erin said I killed it, so I believe her.
Did anything surprise you?
Naaa, I dont surprise much.
What would your advice be to other men who haven’t booked a dudoir session?
Do it with someone you love, or bring something you love, something that shows your hobbies/interests. For me, it was bourbon and Harleys. You'll always have that.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
Definitely. Made me wanna push myself harder in the gym, to look even better next time around. I've always been a cocky guy, so for me, it was, nice to finally get a real photographer to make my head even bigger. 😁
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
Uhhh, cause she's amazing. Great photographer, and a matching personality to go along with. Fast turn around on the pics too. That girls awesome.
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
Fuck it, you only live once. Life's full of reasons to be chicken shit. Take that leap once and a while be brave. You'll always regret the chances you don't take. Don't be a "I wish I would of" person....be a "I'm glad I did that shit" person.
