Ms Arlane’s Boudoir Session / McKinney, TX / Boudoir by Erin
Ms Arlane came into the studio for the first time after seeing me on Facebook. She was ready to experience the Empowerment a boudoir session would give her. To say she was nervous is an understatement! She was very timid and shy and if you know me I am not that way. Yes this blog is photos of her third session with me and she decided to do the outdoor session. All three times she brought her own items and had ideas. This particular session she was ready to take the plunge and go SUPER different and risky. She told Jaimee to go very bold with her makeup and different. We did full nudes that were super tasteful with just a necklace that her husband had recently given her. Take a look at what she had to say about her third session experience.
How did you first hear about Boudoir by Erin?
Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
I wanted to do something nice for myself for once that didn't involve me being mom, nurse, or wife. When I saw Erin's photos and saw how beautiful they were I figured I'd give it a shot
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudoir by Erin?
Mostly doing pin up poses in lingerie on a bed or chair
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
I'm shy and insecure about certain areas of my body
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
Extremely nervous, especially the first session. I didn't know if I brought the right clothes or how I would end up looking like
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
I love how it looks more like a house versus a studio that's more stark and impersonal looking
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
I LOVED it every single time of the 3 sessions I did. I don't typically wear makeup and we went beyond my comfort zone and I loved it.
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
I was nervous that I'd look weird in some of the poses, and some can be uncomfortable, but it helps when Erin shows you a couple of the shots so you see how great they look even if it seems awkward
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
Amazing! After every single session I felt empowered, beautiful, sexy and very confident in myself. Like a whole new person
What products did you purchase?
The crystal album, accordion wallet, peep show, some lingerie pieces. I also did the shower set, get me wet set, used the angel wings and did the feeling myself video.
Did anything surprise you?
I was surprised I was brave enough to do some things, like the shower/get wet sets and especially the feeling myself video but it was worth every moment of it, even with the initial fear that it won't look good.
What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
Go for it! You only live once, Erin and Jaimee do a great job of making you feel at ease and look beautiful, and they work with you on what you feel best about doing.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
Yes, I am definitely more confident in my body, flaws and all, and I also feel sexier than I ever thought I could be, especially now that I'm a mom
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
The feeling alone after seeing your pictures and being pampered nd encouraged the whole session is worth it
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
I am definitely shy and get nervous before the shoots, but it's like jumping in a pool. There's a split second where the fear hits but then Erin gets started and before you know it you do a few poses, see the pictures and it gives you enough of a confidence boost that time flies by and you end the session feeling and looking like a whole new person

The encouragement is amazing, Jaimee does a wonderful job with getting you ready and Erin is so patient and skilled with posing you just right. You won't regret it!
