Ms H’s Boudoir Empowerment Session / McKinney, TX / Boudoir by Erin
If you're on a journey to feel empowered this is a step in the right direction. My only regret is waiting so long to do this. I was so grateful to have Erin coach me the whole way through. Not one time did I feel awkward or ugly. This experience was truly life changing and definitely left me with a confidence boost unlike any other I have felt in my life. Thank you Erin and Jaimee for helping me rock my session.
How did you first hear about Boudoir by Erin?
I did a Google search and read all the reviews and looked at the images.
Why did you decide to book a boudoir session? What made you go for it?
I have always wanted to do this for myself as a confidence boost. After having a c-section baby and recovering from it, I wanted to show off my body after to show women that a scar doesn't stop you from being beautiful. I also had recently gotten out of a toxic relationship and felt that I had finally found myself and wanted to show my new self off.
What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Boudoir by Erin?
Sexy photos to give to your man. Haha. Cliché I know.
Did you have any obstacles or fears about doing a boudoir session?
I did going in, but Erin made the process so easy. I never one time felt uncomfortable and she empowered me the entire session. I could not have picked a better photographer/coach.
How did you feel leading up to the morning of your session?
I was very nervous that I wouldn't get the facial expressions down.
What was your first impression when you arrived at the studio?
Very homey feel and that made it easy to relax.
What did you think of your hair & makeup?
The best I have ever seen my hair or makeup look in my life. I only wish I had the ability to do what Jaimee did. I received so many compliments from friends and family. My friends didn't even recognize me when I met them for dinner.
Did you have any thoughts during your session?
I was just hoping that I looked sexy in the poses. Some of them I felt like I wouldn't rock it, but I trusted Erin and so glad I did.
How did you feel leaving the studio after your session and viewing your images?
I felt the biggest feeling of empowerment come over me in that moment. Looking at myself in a way I have never looked at myself was truly inspiring. I am so glad I did this and even happier I waited until now to do it. I am single and did this for myself on a journey to self love. Mission accomplished.
What products did you purchase?
I purchased the digital images.
Did anything surprise you?
I surprised myself the most. Thought I would be shy, but wasn't at all.
What would your advice be to other women who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
Do it. It seriously will give you a confidence boost unlike any other you have ever had in your life. If you're nervous about how you will look or you are shy, don't worry. Erin will make you feel so at ease and coach you from start to finish.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty/sexuality/sensuality/body confidence as a result of this session?
Yes all the way around. This is exactly what I needed for my journey to find self love. At almost 40 and a Mother this was definitely something that made me feel like a teenager again.
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Boudoir by Erin?
She is the best at what she does. I don't think I would've felt as comfortable had I used someone else. She will get you out of your comfort zone I promise.
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
I was too and that's when a badass photographer/coach comes into play. They shake those nerves and you will see it in the final product.

I just want to say thank you to Erin and Jaimee for making me feel so empowered. This was an experience unlike any other I have ever experienced. I loved it so much, I will probably do it again in years to come. I would definitely recommend Erin to anyone looking to book a boudoir session.
