There are times in life when everything about you seems to be falling apart. Your confidence takes a plunge, you aren't happy with your body, someone has said something that they didn't realize would trigger your overthinking. You've been going to the gym constantly trying to get "wedding ready" but just can't see the results and you wonder if it's even worth it. You have people telling you constantly that you look different, more muscular, or look like your losing weight but you just don't see it. This was me. Every time I looked in the mirror I couldn't see what others did, I couldn't see the hard work that I was putting in. After the session with Erin, I saw it. Erin was an amazing cheerleader and made me feel beautiful and confident in myself. I still go to the gym to workout, but now I feel like it will be okay when my wedding day comes around. I am "wedding ready" right now, just as I am, because I am already beautiful. Thank you, Erin and Jaimee!

This was Clarissa’s second boudoir session with us.  We worked together about two and half years ago and she loved it so much she had to come back and see us.  She was ready after such a crazy year to be empowered again by her own beauty.

Charne’ came to us for her first boudoir session as a gift to her husband for their anniversary.  Oh boy did that change because this session became all about her!  I always explain to women that the session will be more for them than whoever they are gifting it to.  Charne’ experienced this first hand at her session when she saw her amazing images and felt the empowerment from her boudoir session.

Boudoir sessions aren’t just for women. They are great for couples as well! An experience like this with the love of your life will definitely be something you will never forget. Ms Aaren came into the studio for the first time after seeing me on Facebook. She was ready to experience the Empowerment a boudoir session would give her. Both times she used everything from my boudoir closet and said to dress her and then told Jaimee to do her thing with her makeup. There seems to be a common misconception when it comes to Boudoir photography. While tasteful beautiful seductive images DO make great gifts for your significant other, you do not need to be in a relationship or married to have a session. Boudoir sessions are more than just a photo shoot, they are an experience. And every female deserves to enjoy this experience at least once in their lifetime.

And you CAN be it all. Never forget who you are, Mama! Do things that make you remember. Things that make you happy. Take the risks. Find the adventures. That's where you find yourself. Ryan came into the studio for the first time after seeing a post on Facebook looking for males wanting to do a male boudoir session. He was pretty nervous considering he was going to take some sexy photos. Ladies I don’t think we realize men have body image issues just like women do. They worry about their looks and bodies like we do as well. He is wanting his wife to do a session as well so he figured he would help give her confidence to do it if he was brave enough to do a session himself. The Lonquist’s came into the studio for the first time after find us on Facebook. They were looking to do their couples session together for their anniversary. As a boudoir photographer myself I spend my day empowering women and helping them see a side of themselves they don’t see. Women are assholes to themselves and we have a hard time just loving our bodies. I am not excluded in that feeling and struggle with my body and self image daily.

I know what you may be thinking. “Is this a real thing??” The answer to that is, ABSOLUTELY! Is your body in the “ideal” perfect shape? No. But in my opinion, the fact that you are caring a human inside of you does in fact mean that it IS in the perfect shape! Women were built for doing this. This is one thing that we can do that no man can. And it is a beautiful, beautiful thing!
